SASKATOON: At a price similar to regular axle scales, the choice is effortless; rather than receiving an overweight ticket, you can drive over a portable scale and collect all of your axle data right there on the edge of the field. Massload Technologies has designed portable axle scales that are easy to install and can be used in above ground, or pit applications. With the high price of steel today, the Massload axle pads offer an inexpensive alternative of two strips of steel rather than a full platform scale. The weighing surface is constructed with heavy-duty structural steel and can stand up to heavy and repeated use.

The scales are equipped with the tried and true ML1100 double ended shearbeam loadcell. This loadcell is environmentally sealed and virtually indestructible ensuring years of trouble free weighing. The portable scales are low profile at 6” and made of durable no slip checker plate decking with your choice of finish. Accurate and dependable weighing is assured in temperatures from -40deg C to +57 deg C. With low costs to install and the ease and portability of the scales they are a great option for many people and their weighing applications.

There is the option of adding on and off ramps to the platform, making it easier to mount the scale. The standard size of the axle scales range from 30”x 30”x 6” to 144”x 30”x 6” and their capacities are 30,000 or 40,000 lbs. There are many options available and Massload Technologies will custom design to fit our needs.
